Adit Infratel, the parent company behind brand Advent and one of the leading players in the mobile accessories and peripherals market, has announced the commencement of India’s first and only lithium polymer embedded battery manufacturing facility at Manesar, Haryana.
For this new manufacturing facility, the company is making an investment of over Rs. 25 crores. The initiative is part of company’s Make in India strategy, promoted by the Government of India.
Government’s Make In India initiative is aimed to boost local manufacturing, reduce dependency on imports and create large-scale impact on the domestic economy through job and wealth creation.
The state of the art facility is spread over 10,000 sq. ft., and has an installed capacity of 60,000 mobile batteries and 20,000 mobile chargers per day. With the commencement of Manesar facility, the combined manufacturing capacity of Adit Infratel including the unit at Parwanoo, HP, will stand at 95,000 mobile batteries, 25,000 mobile chargers and 4000 power banks per day.The company aims to generate
With this new facility up and running, the company aims to generate more than Rs. 335 crores in revenues from the facility over the course of next four years by leveraging its existing OEM relationships with leading brands.
