The startup ecosystem is constantly evolving and the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has emerged as a leading facilitator to bright young minds, who have donned the role of entrepreneurship. At its 2nd Startup Summit in Jaipur, IAMAI has brought together leading players from the startup ecosystem. With the Prime Minister recently releasing the Startup Action Plan, entrepreneurship has received a big boost from none other than the government.

India ranks 3rd and Jaipur is in top 5 cities in India for startup eco-system. With GOI`s #startupIndia initiative and key essentials for startup i.e Mentorship, Funding and Knowledge provided by organisations like TIE, StartupOasis, JaipurAngles, RVCF and IAMAI, I am sure that Jaipur will become top preferred destination for startups very soon,” said Ajay Kumar Data, CEO, Datainfosys.

The startup ecosystem is robust, can be derived from the fact that 8 out of every top 10 VC / PE firms in India are foreign and investors like Softbank accelerating Talking about the Summit, Amit Jain, CEO & Co-founder, GirnarSoft (Cardekho), said:

In September last year, IAMAI had launched Mobile 10X, which is the largest capacity building and ecosystem enabling programme for mobile apps. Google India, Paytm & Vmax are the founding partners of Mobile10X programme. The programme aims to look at 10 times quality, 10 times revenue and 10 times the number of developers at the end of 5 years.

This programme by IAMAI is also in line with the vision of the Indian Government, which set aside Rs.1,000 crores fund for technology startups in the Budget 2015-16.
