Productivity Platform Gridle Secures $100,000 In Seed Round, Looking To Expand Presence, Increase Sales

Gridle, a cloud based visual collaboration tool used to bolster productivity at work, has raised a whopping amount of  $100,000 in a seed funding round led by Jyotsna Bapat from IIIT Bangalore through deal making platform LetsVenture.

The round also saw Gaurav Zutshi, Rohit Jamwal, Rohit Kilam and Sanjay Tekale, participating as strategic angels.

Gridle unifies all channels of communication such as task management, file sharing, instant messaging, audio/video conferencing and team management on one platform.

Gridle co-founder Yash Shah said –

One of the major differentiating factors is that we are not selling features of task management or team management. We are selling the convenience – the convenience of having your colleagues, content and context on just one platform and the ability to make faster decisions at work, based on actionable insights.

Availability of all the tools at one place promotes seamless communication among people and departments which makes team work a delight.

With a sleek and clean UI, a secure cloud based service, and prices that are easy on the pocket, Gridle largely targets small and medium sized enterprises. Their services are charged at around 20% of what their US based competitors charge. Gridle is counting on pricing to be a decisive factor especially in a market like India.

The newly raised amount will largely be used to expand their presence, to promote the sales of their product and to extend their reach into one or more corners of India.
