Xiaomi wants to rapidly expand its product portfolio, and to do that, it has been rightly tapping into the connected devices segment. Further expanding in the space, Xiaomi has partnered with the Chinese manufacturer of athletic gear Li Ning to launch Li Ning Smart Shoes.

The smart shoes are intended to appeal to fitness lovers as they carry Xiaomi manufactured sensors fabricated to their soul and hold the ability to track all of your workout activities.

These smart shoes can connect to your smartphone application via Bluetooth, which will track progress, goals, and various milestones including the number of steps you take and the calories that you burn.

If you are worried about how long the shoes will last, fret not, they are good enough to last more than a year. The sensors are built using military-grade materials and would withstand a great amount of pressure and stress. Furthermore, they are designed to guard themselves from water and sweat.

Li Ning smart shoes will be available in two variants: CNY 199 (approximately Rs. 2,000) and CNY 399 (approximately Rs. 4,000). Both the models of the Li-Ning Smart Shoes will go on sale in China starting Monday.
