Nudgetspot, a Saas based customer communication start-up founded by the co-founder of Myntra has raised $650k in seed funding round led by Kae Capital. The round also witnessed participation of other angel investors, including Anoop Goyal, Mike Shah and VA Sastry.

As a part of the deal, Sasha Mirchandani, MD and founder of Kae Capital will join the company as a member of board. The company is planning to use the freshly raised funds to expand its service and team in India as well as in US. It is also planning to use the amount for product innovation and marketing.

Nudgespot was founded in February 2014 by Alok Shankar, Anubhav Sudha, Raveen Sastry and Suresh Harikrishnan. The beta version of their service was released in November 2014. It helps its users manage customer communication by providing tools to trigger emails, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messages.

Sasha Mirchandani, investor in the company, said,

Nudgespot has within a very short span of time, proved its ability to disrupt the SaaS based customer communication market which currently forces B2B & B2C enterprises and start-ups to use expensive or ineffective software to communicate effectively with their customers. The Nudgespot founders have a great team and product strategy that we believe in, and we look forward to working with them.

The company claims to have over 40 clients from across the world, including Ola, Bluestone, Zivame, etc. It also claims that using their service, its clients have seen around 10x increase in CTR.
