Talentpad, an online talent recruitment marketplace for mid-level and professional roles has acquired OptimizedBits, a NASSCOM 10,000Startups incubated hiring and assessment portal, for an undisclosed amount.

With Optimized Bits’s tech in place, the company will embed a centralised assessment and screening procedure for all the candidate profiles listed on its site.

Mayank Jain, Talentpad’s co-founder and CEO, said,

Using tools like technology, data science and assessment, we want to make this process (recruitment) more efficient.

Talentpad was founded in 2014 by Nikhil Vij along with Mayank Jain and Raghva Jain. Last year in October, it raised an undisclosed amount in its seed round from Helion Venture Partners.

Formerly known as TalentAuction, it is a second generation platform which flips the current recruitment process on its head. It gives more power to job-seekers and lets employers make the first move in the search for high quality talent.

OptimizedBits is a Bengaluru based startup which was founded by Gaurav Mangla along with Ankit Kaushik, Rohan Phogat and Vaibhav Deshval in 2014, after they faced issues in finding fixed jobs through job portals.

The company’s flagship product is HireMe, skill-based online job fair to hire the best technical talent built on an automated model for shortlisting and scheduling the entire hiring process.

It also has in-house built robust B2B SaaS assessment and technical interviewing solutions for companies for cutting down costs and shortening the recruitment cycle.

As per Talentpad, it currently has more than 1,200 clients, including Flipkart, Zomato, Practo, Urban Laddar, BookMyShow, Snapdeal and many more. It now hopes to touch a $1-million annual run rate by the end of this June.
