Android Lollipop update on the Nvidia SHIELD is now LIVE !

We have already known that Nvidia’s Shield Tablet will be among the very few devices to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update among the earlier days. Well, that update is now LIVE, and you can now update your tablet, via Android’s usual Software Update procedure.

The full change Log for the update is shown in the image (via Twitter/Vincent S). Update is via the official Nvidia OTA and at 705.27 MB, it is quite a large one.

One of the major highlights of the update is the new Enhanced console mode with 4K output. Nvidia has made sure, that its customers get the most enthralling gaming experience, which any current tablet can provide. Apart from this, Nvidia has also added  the DirectStylus launcher and enabled USB Y-cable support.
