After a brief halt in its pre-orders due to the regulatory FCC clearance, Google’s Nexus Player has now got an all-clear from the regulatory body. Pre-orders for the same will be starting soon on Google Play.
But, even if the device does return for pre-orders, the release date is not getting pre-poned, as far as the current situation is concerned. Google earlier slated a November 3 release date for the mini-streamer, and we see no indications of it getting pre-poned.
As far as Indian availability of the newly launched trio of Nexus devices is concerned, only Nexus 9 is available for pre-orders. There are no signs of the Nexus 6 or Nexus Player on Indian website of Google Play.
